We present one of the few, if not the only one available in Polish stores, necklace made of real precious coral "Corallium rubrum" with natural red color. A species of coral from the Coralliidae family, found in the Adriatic Sea and the western Mediterranean, it is considered endemic to the area.
Nowadays, precious coral is often also called other species of the Coralliidae family, with a white or pink color - hence it is important when buying this type of jewelry to check the origin of the coral and its natural color. In the case of this necklace, the certificate-in addition to basic information-will state its origin in the Mediterranean Sea and its natural red color.
This necklace was handmade from selected round beads of coral about 5mm in diameter, tied with red thread with knots and decorated with gold beads of sample 585. The length of the necklace is 45cm. Topped off with a yellow gold ball-shaped clasp.
